Once the connection is ready

If your connection is ready to go, the final step is installing a meter.

To do this you need to contact your preferred electricity retailer and they will help you set this up. We’re responsible for installing, reading and inspecting meters on residential and business premises. But, we need two service requests from your retailer to do this:

  1.  Allocate National Meter Identified (NMI). This creates a unique code for your meter.
  2.  Establish supply request. This is for us to come out to site and install the meter.
