Connecting a system below 5MW
Systems in this range are usually commercial or industrial systems connecting into our 22kV network and are between 1.5MW and 4.99MW in generating capacity. For generation connections 5MW and above, see Connections above 5MW.
All applications between 1.5MW to 4.99MW are treated as negotiated connections, meaning the terms and conditions of your offer can be customised through negotiation between us and you. This is in line with Chapter 5A of the National Electricity Rules (NER).
