We’re making a small upgrade to your electricity meter with a new communications card, to provide you with faster and more reliable data than ever. 

Upgrading your electricity meter

AusNet Services is your Electricity Distributor, providing electricity to your property. Our specialised technicians will be visiting your area shortly to make a small change to your electricity meter, replacing your current communications card within the meter with a new, upgraded card. This will improve how we communicate with your meter and reduce the need for future visits.

How will you be impacted?

We don’t need to turn your power off, and you won’t lose electricity supply to your property. The task will take less than 15 minutes to complete, and there is no need for you to be there. We just need safe and unrestricted access to the electricity meter. Please make sure there is clear and safe access to your electricity meter.
