Report a streetlight fault

 

By reporting a streetlight fault, you’re helping us keep communities safe. 

If the streetlight is within our network, we’ll work on fixing the issue as soon as it’s reported to us.  

If we don’t repair the fault within two working days, you may be eligible to receive compensation, due to our Guaranteed Service Level (GSL).  

The streetlight must be: 
 within the AusNet network
next to your home or business

 

To report:
  • An electricity pole hit by a vehicle, call us on 13 17 99 or use the form below 
  • Damaged or fault streetlight on a freeway, please contact VicRoads for this type of fault.
  • Streetlight placement, brightness, replacements or removals, please contact your local council for this type of fault.

This can be found on the pole. It is a yellow label with black print on it displaying a number.
