Vegetation management partners

We work with two trusted delivery partners to make sure our electricity network remains safe and reliable for our communities.

Who to contact to clear vegetation on public land

Vegetation on public land (trees, branches and shrubs) is managed by your local Council, Shire or us, depending on the location.

Use our vegetation management map to find who to contact.

If you live in an area we’re responsible for, contact one of our vegetation management partners below to help keep the electricity network safe and reliable.

If you live in north and north-eastern Victoria (coloured light blue on the map), contact:

If you live in south and south-eastern Victoria (coloured dark blue on the map), contact:

If you have a private electric line on your property, you are responsible for keeping it safe, including regular tree and vegetation clearance. Learn more at Private electric lines - AusNet.

Landowners or land occupiers are responsible for mowing grass.

If a tree has fallen (or is at risk of falling) onto a powerline, call us immediately on our 24/7 Faults and Emergencies line on 131 799.
