Because we stay involved from feasibility through to operations, we provide continuity throughout the project lifecycle, helping reduce interface risks, avoid costly redesigns and keep projects on track to practical completion.
Feasibility (1–2 months)
Conduct a Grid Capacity Assessment to analyse network capability, historical performance and power system simulations.
Provide developers with confidence in grid connection and project certainty at an early stage.
Development activities (6–18 months)
Define and compare connection options, estimate CAPEX and annuity costs.
Manage stakeholder engagement, property investigations and regulatory approvals.
Advance detailed design and procure long lead items (e.g. transformers) under an Early Works Agreement to accelerate delivery.
Connection agreement execution
Navigate contract negotiations with AEMO, leveraging our experience across every Victorian connection agreement.
Structure 20–30 year agreements to allocate risks appropriately over the asset lifecycle.
Delivery: design and construction (14–20 months)
Act as EPC contractor to design, build and commission all required transmission assets.
Guarantee a fixed energisation date for developer certainty.
Operations (25–30 years)
Provide ISO 55001 compliant asset management, including 24/7 control room monitoring, planned maintenance and incident response.
Maintain access to critical spares and emergency field crews for reliable long term performance.
Decommissioning (6–12 months)
At contract end, either extend agreements for repowering or safely decommission assets within 6–12 months, according to the generator's needs.
