As a result of continued significant growth around Werribee, Tarneit, and Point Cook, some fringe areas have been experiencing an increase of low gas pressures instances, especially during peak demand periods when many customers are needing to use gas at the same time.
By constructing a 1.6km mains reinforcement along Sneydes, and a 1km main reinforcement along Princes Hwy, capacity will be significantly increased in these suburbs, as well as providing long term security and reliability of supply.
