Overview
Edify Energy constructed a 185MW/370MWh energy storage system to strengthen Murray River Energy Zone capacity and connect to our 220kV transmission network.

What did this project involve?
We constructed the transmission infrastructure for the project, which includes an overhead transmission line to connect to a new greenfield terminal station. The new terminal station will facilitate the KESS as well as future connections.
What this means for you
We are committed to minimising construction impacts on our customers and communities. Advance notice and regular updates were provided to landowners if works will impact their property, and interruptions reduced wherever possible. The project area was restored close to its original condition once construction was completed.
