What did we do?
We installed new underground electricity cables in Falls Creek and surrounding areas.
This critical work ensures a reliable electricity supply to residents and businesses in the area.

When did this upgrade happen?
Works started on Wednesday 13 March and were completed towards the end of May 2024.
Crews were onsite between 7am and 6pm, Monday to Saturday, and between 9am and 5pm on Sundays. Some work outside of these hours may have been necessary to complete the upgrade before winter.
Was there any traffic impacts?
Our traffic management plan minimised traffic impacts and disruptions and ensured our crews and road users were safe throughout the works. However, there was road closures on Telemark Street and Christie Street as we conducted these works.
Was there any power outages?
There were no interruptions to electricity supply.
