What did we do?
We upgraded power poles along the 66kV line to improve network performance between Mount Beauty and Clover Flat.
To complete the work safely:
- power was turned off in Falls Creek, Bogong Village and Howmans Gap
- affected customers, including Alpine Ski Resorts, were notified in advance
- there were road closureson Bogong High Plains Road between Mount Beauty and Falls Creek, with detours and traffic management in place.
