The GoodGrid program is about helping ensure local communities have the power they need on the hottest afternoons when energy demand is at its peak. And to make GoodGrid even more community-focused, we’re opening the GoodGrid program up to allow participants to help out schools in our target areas.
The following schools in each of the GoodGrid target areas are participating in the Program, and individual homes or businesses that register can direct the rewards they earn to any of these schools.
|3752, 3754||South Morang, Mernda, Doreen||Mernda Park Primary School and St Joseph's Catholic PS, Mernda|
|3814, 3815, 3816, 3818||Garfield, Bunyip, Longwarry, Drouin and surrounding areas||Jindivick Primary School|
|3805, 3806, 3977, 3978||Berwick, Narre Warren, Cranbourne, Clyde North, Clyde||Berwick Chase Primary School|
AusNet Services will donate $500 to any school that signs up to promote GoodGrid to their communities.
What’s more, anyone who registers for GoodGrid can choose to donate the rewards they earn to local participating schools. That could be as much as $120 across the summer. And you don't have to be a school parent to donate to any of these schools
We’ll give you ways to help you reduce your energy usage on up to eight hot afternoons between 1 December and 31 March. And we’ll provide regular updates on how the local community is helping make a GoodGrid.
So if you'd like to support one of these schools, register now!
