Salt Creek Infographic
  • Salt creek wind farm

    Partner: Tilt Renewables 

    Location: 5 km south of Woorndoo, Victoria

    Assets constructed: 50 km of transmission line 

    Construction completed: June 2018 

    Salt Creek Wind Farm contains 15 wind turbines and can produce up to 

    54 MW of electricity. That’s enough clean energy to power approximately 30,000 homes each year.

Crowlands Infographic
  • Crowlands wind farm 

    Partner: Pacific Hydro 

    Location: 
    25 km north-east of Ararat, Victoria 

    Assets constructed:  
    220kV Switching Station 

    Construction completed: 
    September 2018 

    Crowlands Wind Farm is home to 39 wind turbines and can produce up to 80 MW of electricity. That’s enough to power around 50,000 homes each year.

Bulgana Infographic
  • Bulgana green power hub

    Partner: Neoen Australia 

    Location: 11 km north-east of Stawell, Victoria 

    Assets constructed:  

    • 11 km of transmission line 
    • 220/33kV Terminal Station

    Construction completed: March 2019 

    The Bulgana Green Power Hub houses 56 wind turbines and a battery storage system. It can produce up to 194 MW of electricity. This is enough clean energy to power around 130,000 homes each year. 

    The power this facility generates is equal to taking 230,000 cars off the road or planting 1.2 million trees.

Stockyard Hill Infographic
  • Stockyard hill wind farm

    Partner: Goldwind and AEMO 

    Location: 35 km west of Ballarat, Victoria 

    Assets constructed:   

    • 70 km of transmission line 
    • 500/132kV Terminal Station 

    Construction completed: October 2019 

    Stockyard Hill Wind Farm is home to 149 wind turbines and can produce up to 530 MW of electricity. That’s enough to power 391,000 homes and save roughly 2 million tonnes of carbon emissions each year.

Murra Warra Infographic

  • Murra Warra wind farm

    Partner: RES Australia 

    Location: 25 km north of Horsham, Victoria 

    Assets constructed: 220/33kV Terminal Station 

    Construction completed:  

    • Stage 1 – April 2019 
    • Stage 2 – January 2021 

    Murra Warra Wind Farm contains 116 wind turbines and can produce up to 429 MW of electricity. The power this facility generates is enough to power around 420,000 homes and save 1.7 million tonnes of carbon emissions each year.

Dundonnell Wind Farm Infographic
  • Dundonnell wind farm

    Partner: Tilt Renewables 

    Location: 23 km north-east of Mortlake, Victoria 

    Assets constructed:  

    • 38 km of transmission line 
    • 500/220 kV Substation 

    Construction completed: January 2021 

    Dundonnell Wind Farm contains 80 wind turbines and can produce up to  336 MW of electricity. That can power 245,000 homes and save roughly 1.3 million tonnes of carbon emissions each year.
