What we’re looking for
We're hiring across three transmission engineering disciplines, with opportunities spanning across the entire asset lifecycle, including project development, design, project delivery, construction, commissioning, operations, asset management and network planning.
You don’t need to tick every box. If you’re experience aligns with one of the areas below, and you’re keen to play role in Australia’s energy transition, then we want to hear from you.
Lines Engineers
Design and upgrade transmission lines and structures that connect the transmission network.
Experience may include:
- Lattice towers
- 230, 330 and 500kV
- OHV (Overhead High Voltage)
- Tower/pole design – PLS-CADD/Tower/Pole
- Line ratings
- Tower design
- Autocad
Primary Engineers
Design the high-voltage equipment within transmission substations that keeps the network safe and reliable.
Experience may include:
- Transformers
- Switchgear
- Breakers
- Busbars
- HV equipment
- Surge arresters
- Primary plant & equipment up to 500kV
- Terminal stations / Substations
Secondary Engineers
Develop the protection, control and automation systems that monitor and operate the transmission network.
Experience may include:
- Substation designs
- Protection schemes
- Protection relay settings and configuration
- Automation Control Schemes
- IEC 61850
- SCADA
- Communications
