AusNet Services is committed to partnering with the communities in which we operate. Each year our sponsorships and donations strategy is reviewed to ensure it is aligned with our corporate business strategy and offers the right level of support through sponsorships, donations, community development programs, employee volunteering grants and energy industry education.
As well as monitoring what's happening in our communities and supporting one-off projects, we also have long-term partnerships with the following organisations:
AusNet Services partners with local councils in the communities in which we operate to offer a Community Development Fund (CDF) program. The CDF provides a $20,000 grant pool and is open to local non-profit organisations to apply. Successful applications can be granted up to $3,000.
AusNet Services is proud to partner with the Indigo Shire Council to introduce the “Energising Your Community” grant fund of $20,000. Read the Media Release.
If you are involved in a not-for-profit in the Indigo Shire area, you are encouraged to apply for a grant of up to $3,000 for community-minded projects.

In March 2017, we ran the Yarra Ranges $20,000 ‘Energising Your Community’ Development Fund.
Thirteen not-for-profit organisations were successful in receiving up to $3,000 to complete a community-minded project with lasting benefits for the whole community.

We're proud of the calibre and number of community minded activities our People are involved in. To recognise the volunteering efforts of our employees, AusNet Services has an employee volunteering program, known as Community Cornerstone. This program rewards employees, which volunteer more than 20 hours per year with their local non-profit organisation, with a $500 grants for their volunteer organisation.
