Local schools and RACV supporting AusNet Services to launch innovative power-saving scheme this summer

AusNet Services is looking to partner with local community members this summer to prevent power outages, and to help schools and community members make money at the same time.
The GoodGrid program will reward residential and business customers in two key areas who register for the Program and agree to reduce their power usage for up to four hours at a time when we ask them to do so. Customers who reduce their power usage will receive a $15 reward payment in return. Five to eight of these events are expected between 1 December 2018 and 31 March 2019.

AusNet Services today announced its key role in connecting the 336 megawatt Dundonnell Wind Farm to the National Energy Market. Appointed by Tilt Renewables, AusNet Services will build, own and operate approximately 38km of new transmission line and a new substation connecting the Dundonnell Wind Farm to the Mortlake Terminal Station.
