ZONE SUBSTATION INFORMATION

AusNet Services offers you the opportunity to request zone substation reports for a small fee.

The information provided in the report includes the name or identifier of the zone substation, date and time interval for which load data is available and the load in kilowatts or megawatts, except for information that is considered confidential or commercially-sensitive to a third party.

Annual zone substation reports are available from the period commencing 1 January 2008. For the purposes of providing zone substation reports, AusNet Services’ reporting year runs from 1 January to 31 December.

Longer term data prepared on a consistent basis with the annual zone substation reports is available for the period from 1 January 2008 to 31 December 2015.

Zone substation information for each reporting year will be available from 31 January of the subsequent reporting year. For example, the 2015 annual zone substation information will be available from 31 January 2016.

Report fees

The fees payable for the provision of zone substation reports are as follows:

  • Annual zone substation report (one specified year) - $22 (incl GST)
  • Longer term zone substation report (all available years) - $33 (incl GST)

If you wish to request zone substation information from AusNet Services, please complete the application form and email it to zonesubstationinformation@ausnetservices.com.au.

Due to the large file size of the zone substation reports, AusNet Services will provide the reports in Comma Delimited (*.csv) format. Files can either be delivered on an encrypted USB storage device or emailed in two or more separate emails, containing compressed versions of the *csv files. The reports will be provided within 30 business days of the date of the request.
