REPORT A FAULT

You can assist us by reporting any faults you observe in our gas or electricity networks. For your safety, please stay clear of fallen or damaged powerlines and infrastructure, and suspected faulty gas pipes, and keep out of electricity easements.

For electricity faults

  • Householders or businesses should first check if the fault has been caused because your circuit breaker or safety switch has operated
  • If there's still a fault, contact us with your National Metering Identifier (NMI) shown on your electricity bill, your name, address and the nature of the fault

For gas faults

  • Householders or businesses should first check if the fault has been caused because your meter has been turned off
  • If there's still a fault, contact us with your Metering Installation Registration Number (MIRN) shown on your gas bill, your name, address and the nature of the fault

For hearing impaired customers, please phone 1300 305 043.
